3 semester hours of graduate level professional development credits from University of Massachusetts Global.
The most successful students are the ones who feel empowered, believing that they can learn and achieve in the classroom and life. That empowerment comes from the individual possessing specific attitudes and beliefs, as well as a specific set of skills to achieve that success. They work in conjunction with one another and both must exist in the individual for them to be empowered and successful. In this class, we will focus on eight attitudes and beliefs that are needed to be an empowered student, providing participants with specific strategies and techniques they can use in their classroom to create a mindset of empowerment.
