Can I use the credits I earn from University of Massachusetts Global for recertifying my teaching license and salary advancement?

Yes, the University of Massachusetts Global is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleagues. Their credit is recognized and accepted by all districts across the United States.  

After I submit my all my work, when will I hear back from University of Massachusetts Global with my grade?

The University of Massachusetts Global contacts students directly when their grade posts through email. This process can take between 1-2 weeks. If you haven’t heard back from them or have a deadline, please email Emily at loverdegrouponline@gmail.com, and she can help you.

What different types of payment do you accept for the classes?

You can pay for the online classes from UMass with either a credit card (MC or VISA)

Can Hawaii DOE school teachers take University of Massachusetts Global classes?

Yes. Hawaii DOE school teachers can now now take classes. Teachers need to get prior approval from their Principal. Please see the Hawaii Class page for objectives for each of our courses. The button below is the note from the DOE about updated Hawaii guidelines for advancement.

How many quarter credits is 3 semester credits?

Three semester credits are recognized as 4.5 quarter credits. Please check with your district on which scale they use.

Can I work with a colleague and turn in collaboratively completed worksheets?

Yes, you are able to work collaboratively. Please let us know prior to starting the course. 

Is there a limit to the number of classes I can take?

Yes, LoVerde Group limits participants to a maximum of 5 classes taken per reclassification period which is 6 months.  .  

How long do I have to finish my course?

We can submit your grade 30 days after the date you registered and up to six months after your registration date. If you need an extension, please email your request to Emily@LoVerdegroup.com.

Do your courses ever go on sale?

We strive to keep our pricing as low as we can and below other competetive professional development courses. For this reason, we don’t offer discounts.

I lost my username and password for my UMass Global account. What should I do?
