In this course, participants will learn practical strategies for teaching their students the power and importance of goal setting. Participants will explore the role of goal setting academic success, personal growth and lifelong achievement. Through a combination of research-based theory and hands-on activities, teachers will learn how to effectively guide their students in setting challenging, yet realistic goals for themselves in all areas of the lives.
Topics in this course include the psychology of goal setting, the impact of goal setting on motivation and self-esteem, and the ways in which teachers can support and encourage each of the students to set and achieve their personal goals.
